From AFF to A-license:
your next step as a skydiver
Last updated: 10 December 2025

Core idea:
After your AFF course, working towards your A-license is the logical next step. In one intensive week you continue towards the required 25 jumps, with personal coaching, deeper technical training and a learning environment that strengthens your independence as a skydiver.
- After your AFF course, the A-license is your next step towards becoming an independent skydiver.
- In one week you work with clear goals on your jumps, skills and mindset, at an inspiring location.
- Airboss offers personal coaching and a setting where you truly grow as a skydiver.
From first jump to solo skydiver
The A-license is the logical next step after your
Accelerated Freefall (AFF) course.
With at least seven jumps in your logbook you are already jumping on your own. In one intensive week you work towards your official skydiver license. You build on your jump numbers until you reach a total of 25, develop new skills and grow in confidence.
For a whole week everything revolves around flying. Your body gets used to it, your mind follows and somewhere halfway through you feel it happen: you become a skydiver.
A week that changes everything
What normally takes months now happens in just a few days. Not because we rush, but because the whole setting supports your learning. You sleep at a place where the wind carries the smell of the sea and adventure. You share meals with people who have the same dream. And you jump, learn, laugh and grow, day after day.
Every jump has a clear goal. You get direct feedback and feel how everything starts to click. You do not only learn how to do things, you also understand why. That creates calm, control and real confidence.
More than just technique
During this week you do not only work on your freefall technique. You also improve your landings, your ground knowledge and your mental strength.
Learning to pack your own parachute is a practical requirement for the A-license, but it is also about something deeper. Understanding what you are doing gives you control and trust.
That moment when you finish packing your own rig and walk towards the plane is not just a formality. It is a moment of independence. And you can see that back in your jump.
Jumping at inspiring locations
Our locations are carefully chosen.
Whether you choose France on the Atlantic coast or
Morocco at the foot of the Atlas Mountains, you jump in an atmosphere of calm, focus and inspiration.
It does not feel like a course. It feels like a journey of discovery. You leave the noise of everyday life behind. No work, no distractions, just you, the sky and a team that helps you move forward.
What makes Airboss different?
- Personal coaching: everything is tailored to your experience, pace and way of learning.
- A learning environment that works: peace, nature and rhythm, all focused on your growth.
- Full immersion: for a whole week you breathe skydiving. Focus and progress reinforce each other.
- Clear path towards your license: you work towards the 25 required jumps for your A-license, with support at your own level.
Students who come for their A-license are paired with a personal buddy who guides them throughout the week. Not only on the technical side of the jumps, but also when learning to pack their own parachute. We also prepare you for the theory exam. You build basic knowledge about regulations, equipment, weather and general skydiving concepts. You are guided in a relaxed and step-by-step way, so you know exactly what is expected from you.
You do not have to complete all 25 jumps in a single week. With this approach you get there faster, with more confidence and with a lot more fun.
Ready for your next step?
The A-license is about more than technique. It is about learning to trust yourself and taking the step towards full independence in the sky.
At Airboss you get the space, coaching and inspiration to take that step for real.
