Skydiving Holiday Royan – Everything You Need to Know Before Departure
Dear Airboss Skydiver,
If you’re heading to Royan this summer, we recommend arriving on Saturday. The journey might take a while, so give yourself time to relax and enjoy the beach. This information will help you plan your skydiving holiday and includes helpful tips for a smooth start. Of course, you’re always welcome to arrive earlier and enjoy everything Royan has to offer.
Once you arrive, we’ll go through a few formalities: a warm welcome, filling out forms, and checking your documents. That way, you’ll be well-prepared to start your adventure!

Where to Find Us
Our office is located in the hangar at the airfield. Look for the orange logo. Arriving after 19:00? Find us at the campsite next to the airfield. Staying elsewhere? Please drop by on Saturday to check in.

Getting There
Bus
Travel with Flixbus to La Rochelle or Bordeaux, then take the train to Royan. We’ll pick you up from the station.

Car
Driving yourself? The route is 800–1000 km depending on where you’re coming from. Watch out for heavy traffic on Black Saturday.
Tip: leave early on Friday morning.
Food & Drink
Catering is available at the dropzone: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Additional Jump Costs
- Extra jump: €33
- Gear rental: €15
- Parachute packing: €7.50
- HD video per jump: €7.50
Extra costs are billed afterwards – no prepayment required.
The Course
Start: Sunday 09:00 at the airfield. Duration: around 6 hours. After theory and practice, you might make your first jump the same day!
TIP! Indoor Skydiving
Prepare with a wind tunnel session at Indoor Skydive Roosendaal or City Skydive Utrecht. In Belgium: Charleroi and Liège.
What to Expect During the Week
We aim for 2–3 jumps a day. Enjoy the beach, the vibe, and make your skydive holiday unforgettable!
